Designing the Right Organization

Fundamentally, sourcing change centers on realigning the architecture of the organization by introducing new ways of working. Yet often limited time is spent determining the right structure of the retained organization, relationships with both external and internal customers, and those processes which are upstream and downstream of the sourced scope. In a new model wherein outcomes are managed as opposed to processes performed–new or different emphasis must be placed on governance, performance measurement, financial management, customer satisfaction and process improvement. The workshop is designed to:

  • Identify new capabilities requirements
  • Assess existing staff gaps
  • Agree target and interim roles and responsibilities
  • Develop strawman target and interim organizational structures
  • Identify critical temporary and permanent resources and methods for retention
  • Develop implementation plans
