Managing Stakeholders

Every group affected by sourcing has something different at stake—for some, it means different services levels, for others, it means a change in organizational authority and scope. And for individuals, sourcing has deep implications for careers, whether it results in a new role and responsibility or capability requirements, or the eventual loss of a job. Therefore, determining who your stakeholders actually are in order to communicate what they both need and want to know at key program milestones is of paramount importance. During the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the range of organizational stakeholders, needs and wants, and their barriers to change
  • Implement methods to map divisional acceptance, issues and identified risks
  • Identify key individual influencers (“opinion polarizers”) and map stages of adoption
  • Develop FAQ by stakeholder class
  • Design influencing tools and response models
